I think history is fascinating and complicated. What else could it be? Life is complicated and when you view a whole bunch of complicated lives over a period of time, viola, you have an intricate story called history.  For me, understanding a timeline helps tremendously in understanding the history of a location.  I am not a very good information pre-loader…I am always too busy planning...
